The NBA's All-Decade campaign has begun with a vote for the best individual playoff performance of the last decade. All the nominees occurred in victories, although not all occurred in a series that was won by the nominated player's team. Four of the six occurred in the Finals, one occurred in a conference final, and one occurred in the 2nd round. Not among them is Kobe Bryant's 48-pt/16-rb/2-stl performance against the Kings in Game 4 of their series in 2001, arguably better than any of the nominees.
EFF Kobe Bryant (Game 4, West Semis vs Sacramento, 2001)............ 52 Shaquille O'Neal (Game 2, NBA Finals vs Philadelphia, 2001)... 48 Kevin Garnett (Game 7, West Semis vs Sacramento, 2004)......... 47 Lebron James (Game 5, East Finals vs Detroit, 2007)....................... 45 Tim Duncan (Game 6, NBA Finals vs New Jersey, 2003)................ 43 Dwyane Wade (Game 3, NBA Finals vs Dallas, 2006)....................... 41 Allen Iverson (Game 1, NBA Finals vs Los Angeles, 2001)............ 38
I'm pretty sure Kobe's got one or two others that could've been listed.

Maybe it was pressure-packed enough, as the Lakers were up 3-0. He's had some nice games vs. the Spurs. 2004 game 4, 42 pts. 50 points against the Suns came in a loss, so that's most likely the reason it wasn't listed. People tend to recall game 7 instead.
45 points, 10 rebs vs. Spurs game 1, 2001. Maybe the game wasn't close enough.
