No, the troubling part came when a voice inside the Boston locker room
suggested the Celtics were still better than Orlando, despite a 1-3
record against the Magic this season, including two losses at home.

"One of the guys said, 'We're better than Orlando,' and I said, 'No
you're not. That's a bunch of crap,'" Celtics coach Doc Rivers said
after Sunday's 96-89 loss at TD Garden. "They beat you three games,
two at your place. They're better. They knocked you out of the
playoffs last year.

"Orlando's better than us right now. Atlanta's better than us right
now. L.A.'s [the Lakers] better than us right now. Those are the teams
that have beaten us. That doesn't mean that we can't be better than
them at some point. But right now, those teams are better than us."

Fat Baby probably said it, then Doc piped back with "No, we're not..."

Then Fat Baby cried.

I also go with Big Baby, no chance Doc has the stones to talk that way to
KG, Allen, or Paula...and I'm sure Perkins would have piledriven him into
the ground had he been the one scolded. Perkins gets my vote as current
player most likey to be the next Jayson Williams

Yes, I'd vote that way too.

KG can't be that stupid. As others have said, probably Big Baby (you
can't call me that anymore) Davis.

I love 'Sheed but it sounds like him. On the other hand I doubt Doc
would have had that reaction...

No... I mean sounds like 'Sheed still believing they are the better
team. When the Blazers were 0-3 in a first round series and everyone was
saying it was over 'Sheed was like 'we are not done' and they became the
2nd team to get to a game 7 from 0-3. The game 7 was tied about 3
minutes out in the 4th. NVE saved the mavs from holding the distinction...
